July is a popular month for weddings, and this year was no exception. I recently had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful wedding at Boettcher Mansion in Golden, Colorado. The day started off sunny and bright, but as the couple exchanged their private vows, the sky opened up and it started to rain. Despite the weather, the couple remained in good spirits, and their love for each other shone through even more brightly. The rain cleared up just in time for the main ceremony, which was held outdoors against the stunning backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. The bride looked breathtaking in her white lace gown, and the groom looked dapper in his gray suit. The couple exchanged their vows in front of their family and friends, and there wasn't a dry eye in the house. After the ceremony, the couple and their guests moved inside for the reception. The newlyweds had chosen a playlist of their favorite songs, and everyone hit the dance floor to celebrate their love. The atmosphere was electric, and the joy in the room was palpable. As the night drew to a close, the couple said their goodbyes to their guests and left for their honeymoon. I felt honored to have been a part of their special day, and I know that the memories we captured will last a lifetime. It just goes to show that even when things don't go according to plan, love can overcome any obstacle.
